Job summary

Glass America SC Easley is hiring Auto Glass Technicians to replace windshields and window glass in vehicles. You’ll install glass in-shop or on a mobile basis, using proper tools to ensure efficient, quality service and complete all required paperwork.

Candidates should have a High School Diploma or GED and 4–6 years of related experience. A valid driver’s license and ability to lift up to 50 pounds are required. Training and safety are emphasized.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid driver’s license.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Able to stand for long periods during glass installation.
• Able to stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl.
• Able to use hands for handling glass and tools.
• Able to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Mechanical aptitude; able to operate hand and power tools.

Responsibilities

• Install auto glass and related products in-shop or on a mobile basis.
• Use proper tools to ensure quality, timely installation.
• Complete required paperwork and submit to the appropriate location.
• Maintain safe driving record per company policy.
• May perform auto glass repairs as needed.
• Load glass into truck and assist with equipment checks.
• Report issues to Glass Manager immediately; maintain quality control.
• Provide excellent customer service and maintain good rapport with staff.
