Job summary

Safelite is seeking a Technician Trainee to learn auto glass installation, repair, and recalibration through hands-on and classroom training. You will observe and assist in installations, perform diagnostic testing, and contribute to customer safety outcomes.

Upon completion, you will earn Safelite SafeTech certification and qualify for a benefits package including 401(k) matching, medical plans, paid time off, holidays and volunteer days, plus tuition reimbursement and paid training.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Proficiency with hand tools and power tools.
• Valid state driver's license to operate company vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Observe and assist in installing and repairing auto glass.
• Recalibrate automotive safety systems and troubleshoot issues.
• Provide additional services and products.
• Complete testing to become Safelite-certified Technician.
• Operate company vehicles and tools safely.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
