Job summary

Safelite is seeking a Technician Trainee in North Carolina to learn the Safelite way through hands-on and classroom training. You will observe, assist, and eventually recalibrate safety systems while earning certification and advancing based on performance.

The role offers paid training, flexible pay progression to 25.25/hr after certification, tuition reimbursement up to 5,250 annually, and a substantial benefits package including 401(k), medical, PTO, and holidays.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Valid state driver’s license required.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods.
• Ability to use hand and power tools safely.

Responsibilities

• Observe and assist in installing and repairing auto glass.
• Recalibrate automotive safety systems and perform diagnostic tests.
• Provide additional services and products to customers.
• Study and pass testing to become Safelite-certified Technician.
• Safely operate company vehicles and tools and comply with policies.
• Perform other duties as assigned and maintain professional appearance.
