Join Safelite as an Auto Glass Technician Trainee — the first step in becoming a certified auto glass technician on a nationally recognized team of expert installers! We’ll train you to install and repair auto glass, recalibrate car safety systems, and provide memorable service. And you’ll get paid to learn it all!

As a Technician Trainee, you will:

• Be paid to learn through hands-on and classroom training, including installing and repairing auto glass, recalibrating safety systems, and providing additional services & products.
• Study and pass testing to become a Safelite-certified Technician, demonstrating proficiency and following taught techniques.
• Safely operate a company vehicle and tools used throughout the workday.

What you’ll get:

• Competitive weekly pay starting at $22.84/hour, increasing to $26.24/hour after training and certification.
• Earn $5 per set of wiper blades added for customer safety.
• Promotion opportunities within your first year, earning up to $30/hour as a Senior Tech & up to $33/hour as a Master Tech, based on performance.
• A benefits package valued at over $10k, including 401(k) with company match, medical plans, paid time off, holidays, and volunteer days.
• Option to buy additional PTO or sell unused time up to 16 hours.
• Up to $5,250 annually in tuition reimbursement.
• Paid training and all necessary tools and resources.

What you’ll need:

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Valid state-issued driver’s license.
• Comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions.
• Ability to work scheduled days with flexible start and end times.
• Ability to lift up to 35 pounds regularly and occasionally up to 50 pounds.
• High school diploma/GED or equivalent preferred; ability to read & write.
