Job summary

Big Star Ford, a Ken Garff Automotive Dealership, is seeking an experienced F&I Manager to provide financing and insurance options to customers and finalize vehicle purchases. You will build relationships with lenders, manage paperwork, and drive per-vehicle income while upholding our values of respect, honesty, teamwork, and outstanding service.

Qualifications

• Friendly and cooperative with an ability to quickly connect with customers.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills; deals creatively and empathetically.
• Detail oriented with a preference for high quality and technical expertise.
• Previous experience in a dealership F&I Department, selling financial services, or auto sales.
• High School diploma or equivalent required; college degree preferred.
• Must be able to provide references upon request.

Responsibilities

• Treat every customer in a friendly, professional manner, regardless of financing or purchasing decision or credit.
• Manage overall production of reserve income, F&I product penetrations and per-vehicle income in line with standards.
• Set up monthly forecasting with the sales department and use it to meet monthly objectives.
• Submit all paperwork to finance sources and finalize all paperwork in a timely manner.
• Collect and safeguard money and fees required in transactions.
• Assist in managing deal and cash flow in line with CIT guidelines.
