We are seeking an Auto/Diesel Mechanic for a position in Geismar, LA. This position will be responsible for working on golf carts and oil routing for different machines. Non-exempt role; Reports to Direct Supervisor / Foreman; Assigned duties according to specific procedures / work is checked frequently.

Essential Qualifications:

• High school or equivalent
• Minimum 4 years of experience
• Must have TWIC card
• FRC required
• General gasoline and diesel engine knowledge
• Ability to diagnose and repair equipment
• Organizational skills
• Ability to prioritize and work self-directed and alone at times
• ASME certified
• Technical training and/or industrial related safety experience
• Post-offer drug/alcohol screen and physical evaluation
• Safety equipment as required by the client (hard hat, safety glasses, gloves, respirator, hearing protection, safety harness with lanyard, etc.)
• Applicant/employee must not pose a direct threat to the health or safety of others at the workplace

Functional Requirements:

Perform preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on various automotive and heavy equipment, Perform additional assignments per supervisor's direction.

Compensation

Final agreed upon compensation is based upon individual qualifications and experience.

Physical Involvement:
