Job summary

Universal Technical Institute, Inc. is seeking an Auto Instructor to shape the skills of our students in small engines, diagnostics, and repair. You will guide hands-on learning, lead demonstrations, and help students gain real-world experience in modern automotive technology.

Qualifications

Education: High school diploma or GED. Bachelors Degree.
Experience: 3-5 years of practical work experience in automotive field.
Certifications: ASE A1, A6, G1 a plus and preferred.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills for student interaction.
Patient and empathetic approach to teaching and learning.

Responsibilities

Inspire and Educate: Create an engaging learning environment and foster student passion for auto mechanics.
Hands-On Training: Lead demonstrations and provide practical repair diagnostics experience.
Curriculum Development: Collaborate to enhance courses and align with industry trends.
Mentorship: Guide students on projects and encourage critical thinking.
Safety First: Teach and enforce safety procedures in the shop.
