Universal Technical Institute, Inc. is seeking an Auto Instructor in Avondale, AZ to guide students in hands-on automotive technology, focusing on small engines, diagnostics, and repair.

If you are a 3–5 year experienced technician and hold ASE certifications such as A1, A6 or G1 (or can complete them before hire), you will train, mentor, and lead practical demonstrations while developing curriculum with our education team.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of hands-on automotive experience is required.
• ASE certifications A1, A6 and G1 are highly valued or can be completed before hire.
• Strong teaching and communication skills with students and staff.

Responsibilities

What You'll Bring

• Education: High school diploma or GED
• Experience: 3-5 years of practical work experience in the field
• Certifications: ASEs are highly valued, must have A1, A6, G1 or can complete them before hire.
• Communication Skills: Strong communication and interpersonal skills, enabling you to effectively connect with students and fellow staff
• Patience and Empathy: A patient and empathetic approach to teaching, understanding that every student learns at their own pace
