Job summary

Xcite Automotive is seeking an Area Manager to oversee automotive detailing operations across multiple Michigan dealership locations, including Detroit Metro, Lansing, and Grand Rapids. This is a hands-on leadership role to ensure production, quality, staffing, and performance across locations.

You will work with detail teams, shop managers, and dealership leadership to ensure vehicles are completed efficiently and to company standards, traveling as needed and maintaining safety and process

Qualifications

• Hands-on automotive detailing experience.
• Management or supervisory experience.
• Understanding of detailing production workflows and quality standards.
• Ability to manage multiple locations and teams.
• Willingness to travel 6–7 days per week as needed.
• Must be local to Michigan.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• Strong communication and leadership skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, production-focused environment.

Responsibilities

• Oversee detailing operations across multiple Michigan dealership locations.
• Monitor daily production to meet volume and quality standards.
• Provide hands-on leadership, coaching, and support to detail teams and management.
• Ensure vehicles are completed accurately and efficiently.
• Identify production issues and improve workflow and efficiency.
• Monitor staffing, attendance, productivity, and overall team performance.
• Support location managers with day-to-day operational challenges.
• Travel between assigned Michigan locations as needed.
• Maintain communication with dealership and company leadership.
• Ensure detailing processes, safety practices, and quality standards are followed.
