Job summary

Bob Thomas Ford Lincoln North in Fort Wayne, IN is seeking a detail department associate to clean vehicles inside and out. Hours are 9 am to 6 pm with some Saturdays, offering a full benefits package.

You will perform interior/exterior cleaning, polish and dry, vacuum and shampoo, and run basic checks on vehicles. Dependability and a valid driver’s license with a clean record are required as part of employment.

Qualifications

• Must be dependable with a reliable source of transportation.
• Prior experience is important but not necessarily from a shop.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Clean vehicle interior and exterior by hand or using washing equipment.
• Polish, dry and clean windshields, windows, lights, mats and exterior body.
• Vacuum, shampoo, add air freshener and clean vehicle interior; stain removal as needed.
• Perform basic maintenance checks: antenna, under hood, inside/outside the vehicle, trunk.
• Verify stickers are attached and remove inappropriate ones.
• Perform miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.

Bob Thomas Ford Lincoln is adding to our detail department. Detail is in charge of cleaning vehicles inside and out. The hours are 9 am to 6 pm and some Saturdays.

Duties

• Clean vehicle interior and exterior by hand, brush or by operating washing equipment
• Polish, dry and clean vehicle windshields, windows, lights, mats and exterior body
• Vacuum, shampoo, add air freshener and clean vehicle interior (some stain removal may be required)
• Perform basic maintenance check: antenna, under the hood, inside the vehicle, inside the trunk, and outside vehicle
• Verify appropriate stickers are attached to vehicle and inappropriate stickers are removed
• Perform miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned
