Job summary

Mander Collision and Glass in Milwaukee is seeking a Quality Support Technician to help the operations team by inspecting, detailing, and cleaning vehicles before delivery. This hands-on role supports shop operations with maintenance and organizing tools, while adhering to safety and quality standards.

You will perform thorough vehicle detailing, inspect repaired areas, and notify leadership of defects. The position requires independence and teamwork in a fast-paced environment and may involve

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Valid Driver’s License and good driving record is necessary.
• Prior experience in automotive industry is strongly preferred but not required.
• Excellent verbal communication and mechanical skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a fast-paced environment.
• Willingness to be flexible with task assignments and respond to shop needs.
• Ability to work independently but also as part of a larger team to service customers.

Responsibilities

• Perform thorough detailing and cleaning of vehicles prior to final delivery.
• Visually inspect repaired areas and report defects to leadership.
• Assist in general maintenance of shop location and grounds.
• Inspect goods per quality and safety standards.
• Ensure test equipment is calibrated and functioning.
• Follow safety equipment use and hazardous waste disposal procedures.
• Keep work area organized and return tools to designated places.
• Identify improvements in quality control processes.
• Perform cleaning tasks such as mopping, dusting, and trash removal daily.
• Service, clean, and supply restrooms; replace a light bulb when needed.
