Job summary

French Ellison Truck Center in Laredo, TX is seeking a Porter to join our growing dealership team. The ideal candidate has good communication skills, reliability, and the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced service environment.

Previous auto/diesel dealership experience is preferred. Primary duties include directing customers to the right personnel, moving vehicles to and from service lanes, maintaining shop cleanliness, and running errands for the service department.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required; associate's degree in the auto/diesel field preferred.
• Must have a clean driving record.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Flexibility to work extended hours, evenings, and weekends to achieve their goals.
• Must be reliable and able to multi-task.
• Ability to sit, stand, bend, kneel, stoop and lift/move up to 75 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Drives vehicles to and from the service lanes.
• Assists customers in directing them to the appropriate personnel.
• Maintains cleanliness of the shop.
• Run any necessary errands required by the service department.
• Other duties as assigned
