Job summary

Arbella Insurance Group in Quincy, MA is seeking an experienced Auto Appraiser to assess 1st and 3rd party auto damage, negotiate repairs, and complete re-inspections. You will support field appraisal teams and ensure repairs align with estimates.

Candidates should have 5+ years in auto damage estimating, a valid driver’s license and an appraiser license; on-site role with opportunities for professional development and team collaboration.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of on-the-job auto damage estimating experience.
• Strong technical knowledge for auto physical damage claims.
• Excellent interpersonal and written/oral communication skills.
• Maintains a valid driver’s license and an appraiser license.

Responsibilities

• Prepare timely and accurate estimates for 1st and 3rd party vehicle repairs.
• Negotiate supplemental appraisals with repair facilities to confirm repair costs.
• Complete re-inspections of repaired vehicles for repair compliance.
• Upload and disseminate estimates to customers in a timely manner.
• Provide exceptional customer service via phone, email, and text.
