Job summary

JPMorgan Chase & Co. is seeking a Credit Strategy Associate in the Chase Auto Credit Decisioning Unit, based in Plano, TX.

You will analyze consumer credit performance, support credit strategy initiatives, and help manage portfolio risk while collaborating with Risk, Underwriting, Finance, and Legal teams. You will monitor portfolio trends, prepare reports, and implement data-driven credit strategies, reporting to the Credit Strategy leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, economics, business, data analytics, or related discipline.
• Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in consumer credit, credit risk, portfolio analytics, underwriting, or related functions at a financial institution or credit analytics organization.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and identify trends.

Responsibilities

• Assist with credit analysis and portfolio performance monitoring to identify risk trends.
• Support development and maintenance of underwriting guidelines, policy documentation, and risk frameworks.
• Prepare data-driven reports and insights for credit leadership and cross-functional partners.
• Help evaluate credit exposures and recommend risk mitigation actions for standard credit scenarios.
• Collaborate with Risk, Underwriting, and Finance teams to operationalize credit strategy.
• Participate in special projects related to credit strategy, portfolio optimization, and risk governance.
• Engage in ongoing learning to build expertise in credit strategy and industry best practices.
