Job summary

Chilton Auto Body in the San Francisco Bay Area is seeking experienced Auto Collision Techs for journey level positions, including teardown and reassembly. You will inspect vehicles for collision damage and document repair time and effort to restore them to pre-accident condition in line with industry standards and insurer guidelines.

We offer growth within the company and require you to have experience in auto body collision repair.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of automotive collision repair experience (A-tech level).
• Experience with vehicle teardown and reassembly.
• Detail-oriented with high quality standards.
• Eligible to work in the United States.
• I-CAR certifications are a plus but not required.

Responsibilities

• Inspect vehicles for collision-related damage and document repair time and effort.
• Perform tear down and re-assembly, welding, replacing panels.
• Straighten, grind, sand and fill repair panels; repair frames and unibody using frame rack.
