Job summary

Gerber Collision & Glass, part of The Boyd Group, is hiring a Porter to support quality repairs by cleaning customer vehicles before delivery and maintaining shop and office cleanliness. This role is essential to ensure WOW standards and efficient operations within the Hammond, LA shop.

The position requires a high school diploma or GED, a valid driver’s license, and the ability to perform physically demanding tasks. Automotive experience is a plus as is a strong attention to detail.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Automotive environment experience a plus.
• Ability to multitask and stay organized.

Responsibilities

• Maintain cleanliness of shop and offices, including floors and work areas.
• Pre-washes and cleans customer vehicles before/after repairs.
• Transport vehicles to sublet locations for repairs.
• Keep parking lots and grounds neat and orderly.
