Gerber Collision & Glass in Largo, FL seeks a General Manager to run the collision center, ensuring an exceptional customer experience and adherence to policies. You will lead daily operations, coach staff, manage budgets, and drive KPI targets while upholding safety and quality standards.

The role focuses on team leadership, process discipline, and strong communication with customers and stakeholders to sustain performance and growth.

Qualifications

• Post-Secondary Education or equivalent.
• Proven leadership experience in a collision repair environment or similar role.
• Attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy.
• Ability to motivate others utilizing effective coaching tools and management skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day operation of the collision center.
• Coach and empower each team member’s performance and success.
• Promote and maintain high quality standards of professionalism for customers.
• Forecast, target and track monthly sales, profit and expenses.
• Deliver formal annual and informal monthly performance reviews.
• Monitor accounts payable/receivable and upkeep shop safety.

The General Manager plans and implements the daily operations of the Collision Center to ensure that overall KPI’s and insurance metrics are met. They are responsible to coach and empower each team member’s performance and success in their individual roles. The General Manager will promote and maintain the highest quality standards of professionalism in serving all customers, and the General Manager plays a pivotal role in the success of the customer’s experience by ensuring they are working in alignment with all team members. General Managers are committed to leading by example at all times.Key Job ResponsibilitiesEnsure consistent execution of WOW (Wow Operating Way) plan.Prepare and manage the annual and monthly operating budget of the collision center.Forecast, target and track monthly sales, profit and expense objectives.Deliver formal annual performance reviews and informal monthly performance reviews.Monitor and maintain all A/P and A/R relating to the Collision Center.Maintain a clean and organized repair facility at all times.Monitor all maintenance required for all shop equipment, including the paint boothProvide training for all staff as necessaryEnsure all staff wear proper safety gear and adhere to dress code.Open and close the facility daily as per established procedures.Conduct or coordinate daily production meetings/walks to confirm through-put and delivery datesManage all estimates to ensure labor mix is within established standards. Manage store capacity.Lead and manage all repair facility personnel.Facilitate monthly Health & Safety and staff meetings .
