Job summary

Athens Administrators is seeking an Auto Specialist Examiner to support our Property & Casualty department. This role handles auto claims from inception to closure with in-office weekly requirement for nearby offices and remote work otherwise.

The candidate should have at least three years of auto-claims experience, strong negotiation skills, and knowledge of insurance regulations. Exempt status and a 37.5 hour work week are noted.

Qualifications

• Minimum of three years auto-claims handling experience, preferably commercial.
• Strong knowledge of claims handling concepts, practices and techniques.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills; attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Investigate coverage and determine settlement value or denial of liability for all claims.
• Handle claims from inception to closure with timely investigation and evaluation.
• Negotiate settlements within authority and document all actions.
