Your Role

As an Associate Auto Claims Advisor, your responsibilities include handling non-injury claims, verifying and explaining coverages, conducting liability investigations, advising customers of liability decisions, setting expectations about the claims process, obtaining police reports and witness statements, reaching out to other adjusters, and keeping the member informed of the claim status.

Your work
  • Investigate, evaluate, negotiate, and settle auto and property damage claims.
  • Handle a diary system to review and resolve claims within state guidelines.
  • Manage an inventory of claims.
  • Open claims, acquire required information, and document claim files.
  • Explain policy, coverage, and appropriate actions to customers.
  • Communicate with customers, repair facilities, and ensure compliance with regulations.
  • Arrange and handle repairs, rentals, towing, and total losses.
  • Apply knowledge of estimating standards.
  • Paid 14-week virtual training from 07/21/2025, Monday-Friday, 8:00am-5:00pm PT.
Required Experience, Education, and Skills
  • High School Diploma/GED or 2 years of experience in a customer-facing virtual environment.
  • Ability to train and perform remotely, meeting work-from-home requirements.
  • Adjusters license may be required by state.
Preferred qualities
  • 2+ years customer service experience.
  • College Degree.
  • Empathy, adaptability, time management, organization.
  • Property and Casualty experience preferred.
  • Flexibility to work any shift between 5:30 a.m. to 7 p.m. PST, including evenings/weekends.
  • Strong interpersonal and computer skills.
  • Bilingual skills a plus.
  • Respect for diversity, participation in company culture, willingness to travel, and extra commitment as needed.
