Your Role

As an Associate Auto Claims Advisor, your responsibilities include handling non-injury claims. You will verify and explain coverages, conduct liability investigations, advise customers of liability decisions, set expectations about the claims process, obtain police reports and witness statements, communicate with other adjusters, and keep members informed of claim status.

Your Work

• Investigate, evaluate, negotiate, and settle auto and property damage claims.
• Manage a diary system to review and resolve claims within compliance guidelines.
• Manage an inventory of claims.
• Open claims, gather information, and document claim files.
• Explain policy coverages and appropriate actions to customers.
• Coordinate repairs, rentals, towing, and total losses, and negotiate storage.
• Apply knowledge of estimating standards.
• Complete a 14-week virtual training program, Monday-Friday, 8:00 am-5:00 pm PT, starting 07/21/2025.

Requirements

• High School Diploma/GED or 2 years of customer-facing virtual experience.
• Ability to train and perform remotely, meeting work-from-home requirements.
• Adjusters license may be required by state.

Preferred Skills

• 2+ years customer service experience.
• College Degree preferred.
• Empathy, adaptability, time management, organization.
• Experience in property and casualty insurance preferred.
• Flexibility to work any shift between 5:30 a.m. and 7 p.m. PST, including evenings and weekends.
• Strong interpersonal and computer skills.
• Bilingual skills a plus.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks and respect diversity.
• Participation in company culture activities and willingness to travel as needed.
