Start times and hours may vary due to staffing coverage, production schedules, and holiday requirements. Strong attendance and punctuality are required.**HOW YOU WILL MAKE HISTORY HERE...**As an Auto Case Packer, you will play a critical role in delivering safe, high-quality snack products by ensuring packaging equipment operates efficiently, accurately, and continuously. Your attention to detail, commitment to safety, and ability to maintain production standards will help drive operational excellence while minimizing waste and downtime.**WHAT YOU WILL DO...*** Operate, monitor, and maintain automated packaging and case packing equipment to support continuous production.* Review production schedules and prepare equipment, materials, and packaging supplies to meet production requirements.* Monitor packaging codes, dates, pricing, weights, and product appearance to ensure product quality and compliance.* Maintain adequate supplies of roll stock and packaging materials for assigned equipment.* Perform machine setup, changeovers, adjustments, sanitation, startup, operation, and shutdown activities.* Troubleshoot and adjust machine settings, including micro logic controls, to optimize efficiency and minimize waste.* Monitor film cutoffs, bag seals, and package integrity to ensure products meet quality specifications.* Ensure packaging equipment operates at established production standards and speeds.* Handle, sort, rework, and account for product runoff according to established procedures.* Maintain clean equipment and work areas, including routine cleaning and sanitation of packaging machinery and surrounding workspaces.* Report equipment malfunctions, maintenance concerns, safety hazards, and operational issues to leadership or maintenance personnel.* Follow all food safety, quality, GMP, sanitation, and workplace safety requirements.* Store supplies properly and maintain clear aisles, exits, and work areas.* Safely lift, move, push, pull, and transport materials using manual equipment such as pallet jacks and forklifts, where qualified.* Provide guidance and support to packers as needed.* Serve as a backup for Packaging Coordinator or other skilled production roles when qualified.* Monitor and replenish seasoning systems, where applicable, to ensure proper product coverage.* Support overtime and additional duties as business needs require.**WHO YOU WILL WORK WITH...*** Production Supervisors* Packaging Coordinators* Maintenance Mechanics and Maintenance Technicians* Quality Assurance and Food Safety teams* Production and Packaging Operators* Packers and other Manufacturing Team Members* Warehouse and Material Handling personnel**WHAT YOU BRING TO THE TABLE... (MUST HAVE)*** High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent work experience.* Minimum 1 year of experience in a manufacturing, production, packaging, or industrial environment.* Ability to safely operate packaging equipment and perform machine setup, adjustments, and changeovers.* Strong attention to detail with the ability to monitor product quality, packaging accuracy, and equipment performance.* Ability to read and follow production schedules, work instructions, and safety procedures.* Basic troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.* Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.* Ability to stand for extended periods and perform frequent bending, squatting, reaching, pushing, pulling, and repetitive hand movements.* Ability to regularly lift up to 40 pounds and occasionally move 50 pounds or more with assistance or mechanical equipment.* Ability to work around moving mechanical equipment, varying temperatures, humidity, noise, and production-related environmental conditions.* Flexibility to work overtime and varying schedules as required.**IT WOULD BE GREAT IF YOU HAVE... (NICE TO HAVE)*** Experience operating automated packaging, bagging, case packing, or food manufacturing equipment.* Previous experience in snack food, food processing, or consumer packaged goods manufacturing.* Forklift and/or pallet jack operating experience or certification.* Experience performing equipment changeovers and basic mechanical troubleshooting.* Leadership experience providing direction, training, or support to production team members.* Knowledge of GMPs, food safety standards, sanitation procedures, and continuous improvement practices.* Experience serving in a lead operator, coordinator, or cross-functional production support role.**Individual base pay depends on work location and additional factors such as experience, job-related skills, and relevant education or training.
