Responsibilities

• Examine damaged vehicles and plan repair processes efficiently.
• Communicate with team members regarding vehicle repair status.
• Perform quality repairs while adhering to time schedules.
• Decide on repair vs. replace considering safety, cost, and cycle time.
• Remove upholstery, accessories, electrical and hydraulic components, and trim to access vehicle parts.
• Participate in safety meetings.
• File, grind, and sand repaired surfaces using power and hand tools.
• Supervise and guide apprentices or team members when needed.

Qualifications

• Ability to operate a frame machine.
• Certification in body repair preferred.
• Knowledge of vehicle repair processes by manufacturer.
• I-CAR welding certification.
• Skill in analyzing and interpreting measuring data.
• Ability to supervise repair personnel.
• Must pass a thorough background check.

This role offers competitive compensation, based on experience, skills, and certifications. The position is paid on a commission/flag rate structure, with guaranteed minimum wages meeting local requirements.

Estimated salary range: USD $68,900.00 to $180,000.00 per year.
