Responsibilities
  1. Examine damaged vehicles and efficiently plan repair processes.
  2. Communicate with team members regarding vehicle repair status.
  3. Perform quality repairs while maintaining on-time completion.
  4. Decide on repair vs. replace considering safety, cost, and cycle time.
  5. Remove upholstery, accessories, electrical and hydraulic components, and trim to access vehicle parts.
  6. Participate in all safety meetings.
  7. File, grind, and sand repaired surfaces using power and hand tools.
  8. Supervise and guide apprentices or repair personnel when needed, explaining procedures and handling complex problems.
Qualifications
  • Ability to operate a frame machine.
  • Preferred certification in body repair.
  • Knowledge of vehicle repair processes by manufacturer.
  • I-CAR welding certification.
  • Skill in analyzing and interpreting measuring data.
  • Ability to supervise repair personnel.
  • Must pass a thorough background check.

Compensation is based on experience, skills, certifications, and qualifications, with a pay structure that guarantees minimum wages and averages full-time flag pay rates between USD $68,900 and $180,000 annually.
