Job description

Responsibilities
  1. Examine damaged vehicles and efficiently plan the repair process.
  2. Communicate with team members regarding vehicle repair status.
  3. Perform quality repairs while adhering to time schedules.
  4. Decide on repair vs. replace considering safety, cost, and cycle time.
  5. Remove upholstery, accessories, electrical and hydraulic window operating equipment, and trim to access vehicle components.
  6. Participate in all required safety meetings.
  7. File, grind, and sand repaired surfaces using power and hand tools.
  8. Supervise and guide apprentices or repair personnel when needed, explaining procedures and resolving issues.
Qualifications
  • Ability to operate a frame machine.
  • Certification in body repair preferred.
  • Knowledge of vehicle repair processes by manufacturer.
  • I-CAR welding certification.
  • Skill in analyzing and interpreting measuring data.
  • Ability to supervise repair personnel.
  • Must pass a thorough background check.

This role is compensated on a commission/flag rate structure, with guarantees to meet local minimum wage requirements. The listed pay range reflects the average for full-time employees.
