Job summary

Southern Auto Group is seeking a Body Shop Technician to repair vehicles and deliver high-quality repairs with strong customer satisfaction. The ideal candidate has automotive training and at least two years of dealer-level or large facility experience, a valid unrestricted license, and a proven safety record.

Responsibilities include repairing vehicles, maintaining cleanliness, ensuring documentation, and complying with regulations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; some post-secondary education preferred.
• Two years of relevant automotive experience required.
• Unrestricted driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Ability to drive both automatic and manual transmissions.
• Excellent communication, customer service and problem-solving skills.
• Strong organization and time-management in a fast-paced environment.
• Professional, dependable, and detail-oriented.
• Able to bend, kneel, squat, stand, and lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Repairs automobiles and light trucks as assigned.
• Maintains cleanliness of vehicles while performing service or repairs.
• Ensures that required documentation is complete and is in compliance with regulations and standards.
• Ensures that work areas are clean and that equipment, tools, and supplies are properly stored.
• Follows all safety policies and procedures.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
