Job summary

The Boyd Group is seeking an Auto Body Technician in Arden, NC to repair and restore vehicles to pre-accident condition. You will disassemble, repair, and reassemble cars, align chassis, replace parts and glass, and repaint to exact specifications while maintaining quality and speed.

You will work with a team to meet labor and safety standards, read job orders, and apply structural and cosmetic repairs as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Successful completion of technical school program or a 3-year apprenticeship as an auto body repairer.

Responsibilities

• Disassemble, repair, and reassemble vehicles to restore pre-accident condition.
• Assess vehicles and provide quality repairs per KPIs.
• Realign chassis and frames to repair structural damage.
• Replace or repair parts and glass as needed.
• Weld and attach parts and repaint to factory specs or equivalents.
• Ensure work orders meet labor time guidelines.
