Job summary

The Boyd Group is seeking an Auto Body Technician in Dallas to meticulously assess and repair vehicles to pre-accident condition. You will disassemble, repair, and reassemble cars, align chassis, and replace damaged sections with new parts.

You will use cutting guns, plasma cutters, hydraulic jacks, hammers, and pliers to complete repairs and ensure quality. A high school diploma or technical training plus experience is required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Technical school program OR a 3-year apprenticeship as an auto body repairer preferred.

Responsibilities

• Plan the repair work and prepare cost estimates.
• Disassemble, repair, and reassemble vehicles to restore pre-accident condition.
• Realign chassis/frames and replace damaged sections with new or aftermarket parts.
• Weld, fit parts, and repaint vehicles as needed.
• Ensure work orders meet labor time guidelines and inspect finished work.
