Gerber Collision & Glass is hiring an Auto Body Technician to deliver an exceptional customer experience by accurately repairing vehicles to pre-accident condition. You will disassemble, repair, and reassemble cars, realign frames, and replace parts, while upholding speed, quality and customer excellence.

The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent, plus a technical program or apprenticeship. Candidates must read orders, work with others, and demonstrate proper use of repair tools.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Technical school or 3-year apprenticeship in auto body repair preferred.
• Ability to read job orders and work with minimal supervision.
• Strong knowledge of tools and repair procedures used in auto body work.

Responsibilities

• Disassemble, repair, and reassemble vehicles to pre-accident condition.
• Assess and repair vehicles with speed, quality, and customer excellence.
• Realign chassis and frames to fix structural damage.
• Remove damaged sections; install new or aftermarket parts or glass as needed.
• Weld, fit, and repaint vehicles to specifications.
• Ensure work orders meet labor time guidelines and inspect final work.
