Job summary

Crash Champions is hiring at our Milwaukee area locations for skilled automotive body repair technicians. You will inspect damaged vehicles, plan and execute high-quality repairs, and liaise with team members to track progress. This role involves assessing repair vs.

replacement decisions with a focus on safety, cost, and turnaround time. The position requires hands-on expertise with frame machines, body repair know-how, and OEM repair processes.

Qualifications

• Proficient with frame machines and body repair processes.
• Certification in body repair is preferred.
• Knowledge of vehicle repair process by manufacturer (OEM) required or preferred.
• I-CAR welding certification is valued.
• Ability to analyze measuring data for repairs.
• Ability to supervise repair personnel.
• Must be able to pass a thorough background check.

Responsibilities

• Examine damaged vehicles and plan repair process efficiently.
• Communicate with team on repair status and progress.
• Perform quality repairs while maintaining on-time status.
• Decide on repair vs. replace based on safety, cost, and cycle time.
• Remove upholstery, accessories, electrical and related components to access areas.
• Attend required safety meetings.
• File, grind, and sand repaired surfaces with power or hand tools.
• Direct an apprentice and explain procedures when needed.
