Job summary

The Boyd Group Services is seeking an Auto Body Technician in Navarre, FL. The role focuses on meticulous assessment and quality repair of vehicles to restore pre-accident condition, while upholding the company’s speed, quality, and customer-excellence standards.

The technician will disassemble, repair, and reassemble vehicles, align chassis, replace parts, weld and repaint as required, and ensure work orders meet labor time guidelines with inspections for quality.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Technical school program or a 3-year apprenticeship in auto body repair.
• Ability to read job orders and work with very little supervision.
• Thorough understanding of methods and procedures to repair vehicle bodies.
• Thorough understanding of how to use tools required for the trade.

Responsibilities

• Ensure consistent execution of WOW (Wow Operating Way) plan.
• Plans the repair work and prepares cost estimates using tools to repair sections of a vehicle.
• Hammers out dents, applies filler resins when necessary.
• Realigns car chassis and frames to repair structural damage.
• Replaces damaged sections with new or aftermarket parts and repairs glass.
• Replaces or repairs interior parts as needed.
• Welds and attaches parts; repaints vehicles with factory paint or equivalent.
• Completes work orders within labor time guidelines and inspects vehicles after repair.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.
