Job summary

Crash Champions is seeking a skilled Auto Body Technician to examine damaged vehicles, plan repairs, and ensure on-time completion at our Ohio locations. You will communicate status, perform quality repairs, and decide on repair vs. replacement with safety and cost in mind.

The role requires frame machine operation, I-CAR welding certification, and ability to supervise apprentices. We offer healthcare, 401k with match, and a competitive compensation package.

Qualifications

• Ability to use frame machine.
• Certification in body repair preferred.
• Knowledge of vehicle repair process by manufacturer.
• I-CAR welding certified.
• Skill in analyzing and interpreting measuring data.
• Ability to supervise repair personnel.
• Must be able to pass thorough background check.

Responsibilities

• Examines damaged vehicle and plans repair process.
• Communicates repair status with others.
• Performs quality repairs and maintains on-time status.
• Decides on repair vs. replacement considering safety, cost, and cycle time.
• Removes upholstery and related parts to access areas.
• Attends safety meetings.
• Files, grinds, and sands repaired surfaces.
• Directs an apprentice when needed.
