Job summary

Crash Champions is seeking a skilled Collision Repair Technician at our Tucker, GA location. You will examine damaged vehicles, plan repairs, and perform quality repairs while maintaining on-time status, collaborating with teammates to keep workflow efficient.

Qualifications

• Experience with frame machines and body repair processes.
• Certification in body repair is preferred.
• Knowledge of vehicle repair procedures by manufacturer.
• I-CAR welding certification is required or preferred.
• Ability to analyze and interpret measuring data.
• Ability to supervise repair personnel.
• Must be able to pass a thorough background check.

Responsibilities

• Examines damaged vehicle and plans repair process.
• Communicates repair status with team members.
• Performs quality repairs while keeping on-time status in mind.
• Decides on repair vs. replace considering safety, cost, and cycle time.
• Removes upholstery, electrical components, and trim to access areas.
• Attends required safety meetings.
• Files, grinds, and sands repaired surfaces with tools.
• Directs apprentice and explains procedures when needed.
