Job Title: Auto Body Technician - Flat Rate | Crash Champions Careers

Job Information

Responsibilities

1. Examine damaged vehicles and plan repair processes efficiently.
2. Communicate with team members regarding vehicle repair status.
3. Perform quality repairs while adhering to time schedules.
4. Decide on repair vs. replace considering safety, cost, and cycle time.
5. Remove upholstery, accessories, electrical and hydraulic components, and trim to access vehicle areas.
6. Participate in all safety meetings.
7. File, grind, and sand repaired surfaces using power and hand tools.
8. Supervise apprentices and explain procedures as needed.

Qualifications

1. Ability to operate a frame machine.
2. Preferred certification in body repair.
3. Knowledge of vehicle repair processes by manufacturer.
4. Skill in analyzing and interpreting measuring data.
5. Ability to supervise repair personnel.
6. Must pass a thorough background check.

This position is paid on a commission/flag rate structure, with guaranteed minimum wages meeting local requirements. Compensation varies based on experience, skills, and certifications.
