Job summary

First Student is hiring an Auto Body Mechanic to perform body repairs and related tasks in the Pittsburgh area. The technician will straighten bent bodies, remove dents, and replace damaged parts, working to high safety standards and following work orders.

The role requires 3+ years of auto body repair experience, own tools, and the ability to read repair orders. DOT drug testing applies, and ASE credentials are preferred. Competitive hourly pay and full benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• 3+ years experience in auto body repair is required.
• Own tools are required for the role.
• Ability to accurately read and interpret repair orders.

Responsibilities

• Perform damaged sheet metal and body repairs using hand and power tools.
• Document all repair and maintenance actions on work orders.
• Ensure vehicle security and safety while in the shop.
• Provide written estimates of repair when requested.
