Qualifications

• Experience using frame equipment and performing body repairs.
• Certification in body repair preferred and background check required.
• Knowledge of vehicle repair processes and measuring data.

Responsibilities

• Examines damaged vehicle and plans repair process.
• Communicates repair status with teammates.
• Performs quality repairs while maintaining on-time status.
• Decides on repair vs. replace considering safety, cost, cycle time.
• Removes upholstery and trim to access components.
• Participates in safety meetings.
• Files, grinds, and sands repaired surfaces with tools.
• Directs an apprentice and explains procedures when needed.
