Job summary

Pacific Auto Body in Canada is seeking a skilled auto body technician to join our on-site shop. You will replace front end components, doors, frames, and weld where needed, working with various body shop tasks in a fast-paced environment.

The role requires hands-on experience with metal cutting, dent repair, welding, and finishing, as well as owning or using shop tools. A reliable team player committed to quality work is essential.

Qualifications

• Experience repairing auto body components and welding.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Willingness to perform physical tasks (bending, kneeling).
• Own tools and equipment available.

Responsibilities

• Clean and maintain work space.
• Replace front end components, body components, doors and frame and underbody components.
• File, grind and sand body surfaces to be repaired.
• Hammer out dents, buckles and defects using blocks and hammers.
• Remove damaged fenders, panels and grills and bolt or weld replacement parts into place.
• Repair or replace interior components.
• Repair or replace damaged windows, windshields and sunroofs.
• Operate soldering equipment or use plastic filler to fill holes, dents and seams.
• Straighten bent frames using frame and underbody pulling and anchoring equipment.

• Salary 32.00 to 35.00 hourly (To be negotiated) / 40 to 70 hours per week
• Terms of employment Permanent employment Full time

Work must be completed at the physical location. There is no option to work remote.
