Job summary

G & H Tires and Collision is seeking an Auto Body Technician Apprentice to join our established shop. You will work under seasoned technicians to learn dent removal, frame repairs, painting prep, and equipment use in a hands-on environment.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma or GED, a strong interest in automotive repair, and the ability to work in a fast-paced setting. Training, mentorship, and opportunities for advancement are provided along with competitive pay.

Qualifications

• Must have a basic mechanical aptitude and interest in automotive repair.
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to work well in a team and communicate effectively with colleagues.
• Willingness to learn, train, and follow safety procedures.

Responsibilities

• Assist senior auto body technicians with repairs, dent removal, frame work, and part replacements.
• Prepare vehicles for painting by sanding, masking, and primer application.
• Learn to use industry-standard tools and equipment safely and efficiently.
• Ensure repairs meet quality standards and manufacturer specifications.
• Maintain a clean, organized workspace and proper tool storage.
• Communicate effectively with team to meet deadlines and customer expectations.
• Participate in ongoing training and development to grow skills and knowledge.
