Responsibilities

1. Examines damaged vehicle and plans repair process efficiently.
2. Communicates with team regarding vehicle repair status.
3. Performs quality repairs while maintaining on-time completion.
4. Decides on repair vs. replace considering safety, cost, and cycle time.
5. Removes upholstery, accessories, electrical, hydraulic components, and trims for access.
6. Participates in safety meetings.
7. Files, grinds, and sands surfaces using power and hand tools.
8. Supervises apprentices and explains procedures as needed.

Qualifications

1. Preferred certification in body repair.
2. Knowledge of vehicle repair processes by manufacturer.
3. I-CAR welding certification.
4. Skill in analyzing measuring data.
5. Ability to supervise repair personnel.
6. Must pass a thorough background check.

This role is paid on a commission/flag rate basis, with guaranteed minimum wages. The typical full-time compensation range is USD $65,000 to $150,840 annually.
