Job summary

Crash Champions is a leading collision repair operator in the U.S. We are seeking skilled technicians to examine damaged vehicles, plan repairs, and perform quality fixes to ensure on-time delivery.

Ideal candidates will have frame machine experience, body repair certification preferred, and I-CAR welding certification, with the ability to supervise apprentices when needed.

Qualifications

• Ability to use a frame machine.
• Certification in body repair preferred.
• Knowledge of vehicle repair processes by manufacturer.
• I-CAR welding certification.
• Skill in analyzing and interpreting measuring data.
• Ability to supervise repair personnel.

Responsibilities

• Examines damaged vehicle and plans the repair process efficiently.
• Works with others and communicates vehicle repair status.
• Performs quality repairs while keeping on-time status in mind.
• Makes decisions on repair vs. replacement considering safety, cost, and cycle time.
• Removes upholstery, accessories, electrical and hydraulic window operating equipment, and trim to gain access to the vehicle and fenders.
• Participates in all required safety meetings.
• Files, grinds, and sands repaired surfaces using power tools and hand tools.
• Directs the work of an apprentice in the performance of tasks when needed and explains procedures to the assistant.
