Job summary

Action Collision in Ohio (Euclid) is seeking a full-time body shop technician to repair vehicles per estimates, restore panels, and maintain equipment. You will read job orders, communicate with management about needed additional repairs, and work in a fast-paced environment with safety as a priority.

Qualifications

  • 1–3 years of collision repair experience or equivalent training.
  • Ability to read and understand repair orders and estimates.
  • I-CAR welding certification preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Repair vehicles per estimate and quality standards.
  • Restore panels and components to pre-accident condition.
  • Communicate repairs, delays, or changes to management.
  • Maintain tools and operate equipment safely.
  • Keep work area clean and free of hazards.
  • Wear required PPE including eye protection.
  • Assist teammates with repairs and prep.
  • Comply with regulations governing body shop operations.
  • Collaborate within CollisionRight network; leverage training resources.

Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Minimum 1–3 years of collision repair experience, or completion of a technical school program, OR apprenticeship program
  • Knowledge of vehicle repair processes and manufacturer repair procedures
  • Able to read and work from job orders and estimates with little supervision
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow written and verbal instructions
  • Ability to use a frame machine
  • I-CAR welding certification preferred
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-production environment
  • Able to lift up to 35 pounds regularly and up to 70 pounds occasionally
  • Able to bend, kneel, squat, crouch, and reach in tight or confined spaces

Responsibilities
  • Repair vehicles according to the estimate and established quality standards, including removing damaged parts and installing replacements
  • Restore body panels, structural components, and outer body parts to pre-accident condition using specialized tools and equipment
  • Communicate with management regarding additional repairs needed, potential delays, or changes to promised completion times
  • Maintain tools and equipment in good working order and operate all equipment safely
  • Keep the work area clean, organized, and free of safety hazards at all times
  • Wear all required personal protective equipment, including eye protection
  • Assist team members with repair and vehicle preparation as needed based on schedule and workload
  • Comply with all federal, state, and local regulations governing body shop operations, including hazardous waste disposal

This position is paid on a commission flat-rate structure guaranteed to meet local minimum wage requirements.
