Caliber Collision in Elgin, IL is seeking an experienced auto body technician to repair collision damage with precision and care.

No two crashes are identical, so you will blueprint and execute full collision repairs—from panel work to frame rebuilds—while collaborating with painters, estimators, and front office staff. We offer training, competitive pay, and day-one benefits to support your career growth.

Qualifications

• At least two years of experience turning wrecks into road-ready rides.
• Frame and structural know-how; able to pull, straighten, and square.
• No-shortcuts mentality; blueprint it and fix it right first time.
• Sharp eye for detail; tightened bolts and perfected welds.
• Physically fit; able to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Team-first attitude; collaborate with painters, estimators, and front office staff.
• Must be eligible to work in the U.S. with no restrictions.

Responsibilities

• Blueprint and execute clean, precise repairs.
• Full collision repair from fender benders to frame rebuilds.
• Panel and structural work to factory specs.
• Quality reassembly with attention to fit and finish.
• Work as a team to move cars through the shop.
• Maintain a safe, tidy work environment.
