Job summary

Ames Collision Center is seeking skilled auto body technicians to join our expanding collision shop in Dallas. You will assess damaged vehicles, plan repairs, and work both independently and with the team to restore vehicles to high quality standards.

Ideal candidates have experience with European vehicles, knowledge of repair procedures, and relevant certifications. We offer comprehensive benefits and opportunities for growth in a fast-paced collision repair environment.

Qualifications

• Must understand and read repair procedures.
• Experience working with European vehicles.
• Skilled at assessing damage and determining repair priorities.
• Preferred I-CAR certifications.
• OEM certification is advantageous.
• Welding certification is a plus.
• Credential for A-Tech autobody technician is relevant.

Responsibilities

• Assess damaged vehicles and efficiently plan the repair process.
• Make decisions on repair vs. replace, considering safety, cost, and cycle time.
• Remove & install upholstery, accessories, electrical, and window equipment to gain access for repairs.
• Communicate with management on any supplemental damages or setbacks that could affect quality or cause delays.
