Responsibilities

1. Examine damaged vehicles and efficiently plan repair processes.
2. Communicate with team members regarding vehicle repair status.
3. Perform quality repairs, maintaining on-time completion.
4. Decide on repair vs. replace considering safety, cost, and cycle time.
5. Remove upholstery, accessories, electrical and hydraulic components, and trim for access.
6. Participate in all required safety meetings.
7. File, grind, and sand repaired surfaces using power and hand tools.
8. Supervise and direct apprentices or repair personnel as needed, explaining procedures and resolving issues.

Qualifications

• Ability to operate a frame machine.
• Certification in body repair preferred.
• Knowledge of vehicle repair processes by manufacturer.
• I-CAR welding certification.
• Skill in analyzing and interpreting measuring data.
• Ability to supervise repair personnel.
• Must pass a thorough background check.

Compensation is competitive and based on knowledge, skills, experience, and certifications. The role pays on a commission/flag rate structure, with guaranteed minimum wages meeting local requirements. The listed pay range reflects typical full-time earnings.
