At GasTec, we are a well-established, locally-owned propane supplier with a vehicle fleet we actively work to keep in top shape.

Position Overview

We are seeking a talented and mechanically inclined individual with a strong background in auto body work and the possibility of some truck maintenance. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail and a willingness to learn and grow in their career. If you have experience in both auto body repair and general vehicle maintenance and want to work in a dynamic, team-oriented environment, this is the opportunity for you!

Key Responsibilities (but not limited to):
  1. Perform auto body repairs, including collision damage, dent removal, paintwork, and assist with general fleet maintenance.
  2. Follow repair procedures and safety guidelines to ensure all work meets industry and code standards.
  3. Maintain a clean, organized work area and assist with shop maintenance.
  4. Communicate effectively with employees regarding repair needs and status updates.
  5. Collaborate with team members and be willing to learn new skills and techniques.
Qualifications
  • Proven experience in auto body work.
  • Knowledge of auto body techniques, including painting and dent repair.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to troubleshoot and repair various vehicle systems.
  • Familiarity with general vehicle maintenance, including engine repair, brake systems, electrical systems, and suspension is a plus.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Attention to detail and a commitment to quality workmanship.
  • Strong work ethic, reliability, and willingness to learn and grow professionally.
  • Valid driver’s license (CDL is a plus).
  • Tools are a plus but not required.
