Job summary
CarGuys Inc. is seeking an experienced Automotive Body Shop Painter to join our team in Somerset, NJ.
You will perform expert paint and refinishing on a variety of vehicle makes and models to deliver high-quality results. You will ensure precise color matching, prepare surfaces, and collaborate with the body shop to meet production schedules while maintaining safety and cleanliness in a fast-paced environment.
Qualifications
- Experience as a Body Shop Painter, preferably in a dealership.
- Strong knowledge of paint application techniques, materials, and equipment.
- Able to deliver high-quality work on minor touch-ups and full refinishes.
- Detail-oriented, with a focus on delivering excellent customer satisfaction.
- I-CAR certification or similar training is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Perform expert-level paint and refinishing on various vehicle makes and models.
- Ensure precise color matching and flawless finishes.
- Prepare surfaces for painting by sanding, masking, priming, and performing minor bodywork.
- Collaborate with the body shop team to meet production schedules and maintain quality standards.
- Maintain a clean, organized workspace and ensure adherence to safety protocols.
