Seeking an Auto Painter to refinish damaged vehicle body parts and surfaces according to factory and dealership quality standards. Responsibilities include surface preparation, applying coatings, color matching, and ensuring high-quality finishes using spray guns or other methods.

Essential Duties

• Operate and maintain all body shop equipment safely and properly.
• Remove rust, grease, and dirt from surfaces.
• Mask parts to protect from paint.
• Fill cavities and dents with putty for smooth surfaces.
• Mix and apply paint and coatings accurately.
• Inspect painted surfaces for quality, noting imperfections.
• Maintain tools and keep the work area clean.
• Wear all required safety gear and follow safety regulations.
• Comply with laws regarding hazardous materials.
• Assist colleagues in vehicle repair and prep tasks.
• Stay updated and compliant with relevant regulations.
• Perform other assigned tasks.

Education and Experience

• High school diploma or GED; post-secondary preferred.
• Minimum 2 years of relevant experience.
