Job summary

Sebago Lake Collision, Powered by VIVE is seeking an Auto Body Shop Helper/Porter in Windham, ME. This full-time position supports the shop team with prep work and logistics to keep the collision repair process moving smoothly.

You will perform vehicle prep and transport, pick up parts, assist in the repair process, and help maintain a clean, safe work environment. Candidates should be 18+, have a valid license, and good communication skills.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Must have a valid driver's license with a great driving record.
• Ability to effectively communicate with others and understand basic instructions.
• Multi-tasking; adapt easily to fast-paced environments.

Responsibilities

• Pre washes vehicles
• Moves vehicles from the front to the back of the shop and arrange the shop lot
• Pick up parts from vendors
• Vehicle pick up and drop off (sublets)
• Pick up / Drop off customer vehicles
• Transport rental vehicles to and from Enterprise Rental
• Assist in the vehicle repair process (detail, prep, R&I, mechanical)
• General cleaning and maintenance of the shop/grounds
• Housekeeping items

• Ability to stoop, bend, squat, kneel and pull
• Extended periods of kneeling, bending, squatting, and stooping to complete or inspect repairs
• Carry and lift heavy objects (up to 80lbs)
• Manual dexterity and eye/hand coordination to operate equipment
• Performing repetitive motions
