The role involves examining damages, disassembly and reassembly, and using specialized equipment to restore frames and panels to factory specs. Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn are essential.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 4+ years of body shop experience.
• Must own standard body repair tools.
• Must know the core body and collision repair procedures.

Responsibilities

• Examine vehicle damages and oversee repair from disassembly to reassembly.
• Operate equipment to restore damaged metal frames and body sections to original specs.
• Fill depressions with body filler and ensure quality repair.
• File, grind, and sand repaired surfaces using power and hand tools.
• Return vehicles to factory specifications.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Examine vehicle damages and see vehicles throughout the entire repair process, including disassembly and reassembly of the vehicle.
• Operate special equipment to restore damaged metal frames and body sections back to original specifications (plastic welding, spot welding, etc.).
• Fill depressions with body filler and ensure a quality repair.
• File, grind, and sand repaired surfaces, using power tools and hand tools.
• Return the vehicle back to factory specifications.

Required Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 4+ years of body shop experience.
• Must own standard body repair tools
• Must know the core body and collision repair procedures.

Preferred Qualifications:

• I-Car/ASE Certifications are preferred.
• Further training will be offered for areas of needed education (We are an I-CAR Gold Class Shop, so certification will be offered if missing).
