Body Shop Technician Compensation and Benefits:

Body Shop Technician Responsibilities:

• Determine and repair damaged vehicles
• Communicate status of repairs clearly to body shop manager
• Coordinate with parts department to obtain necessary parts
• Document all repairs performed
• Document all materials used
• Paint vehicles
• Maintain a clean and orderly work area
• Follow all company safety procedures
• Comply with federal, state, and local regulations such as hazardous waste disposal

Body Shop Technician Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Previous experience required
• Completion of vocational program preferred but not required
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Valid driver’s license, acceptable driving record, background check, and pre-employment drug screening
