Job summary

CARSTAR Franchising, Inc. is seeking a Production Manager to oversee auto body repair production. You will assign repair work to technicians, manage workflow, and drive improvements while ensuring repairs meet target dates and safety standards.

The role requires 4–5 years in auto body collision repair, hands-on operations knowledge, and experience supervising a team in a manufacturing environment. Proficiency with estimating software is preferred.

Qualifications

• 4–5 years of prior auto body collision repair experience.
• Advanced understanding of operations and repair processes.
• Proven experience managing employees in a high‑performing manufacturing environment, collision industry preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assign repair work to technicians and manage workflow to meet target dates.
• Provide direction to production staff and adjust plans as needed.
• Maintain productive cycle times and report additional damage when applicable.
• Keep repair orders updated in CARSTAR management system and track vehicle status.
• Lead meetings to review goals and repair order status; ensure safety and OSHA/EPA compliance.
• Inspect vehicle repairs for quality prior to customer delivery.
